After wrangling his own three kids day in and day out, Reid Auger heads to work and does it all again. For over 20 years and counting, Reid has taught Language Arts in Jefferson County, Colorado. He received his Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Colorado. Demonstrating his high-level commitment to education, Reid returned to the University of Colorado to seek a Master’s degree. Evidence of Reid’s passion, dedication and hard work paid off and he was awarded a Masters of Curriculum Development. Reid’s philosophy towards education has always been grounded in building and fostering relationships with students and families in order to help each student reach their full potential. It is this core value that sets him and his colleagues above.
Patricia Brandenburger, or Mrs. B as she is known by her students, is in her second decade of teaching. Her energy and work ethic matches her youth and experience. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii-Manoa, she worked in the engineering field as an engineering technician. Her dedication to learning led her to receive her Master’s degree in Science Education from the University of Montana. Being outdoors and enjoying time with her husband and toddler son is her favorite way to immerse herself in what she truly loves…Math and Science.
